From the boundless imagination of this image hunter, born in 1963 in Martinique and nourished by a childhood immersed in the wild nature of French Guiana, springs a singular universe. Captured through her photographic eye, imbued with rare sensitivity, this world oscillates between the modern graphic novel and the fairy tale tinged with romantic accents. At only fourteen, young Agnès Etchegoyen , armed with her father’s professional camera, followed her instinct and her deep love of nature to set out in search of images. This passion, long dormant, was reignited about ten years ago with the acquisition of a sophisticated camera that opened a new creative horizon. Her first explorations captured the reflections of her other passions — surfing, windsurfing, and scuba diving — as mirrors of a universe in perpetual motion.
