Follow med, whose real name is Ahmed Bouzeraa, was born in 1972 in Tabala, Algeria. As a child in France, he discovered the world of bookmobiles and comic strips, before a formative return to his native country in 1984. That pivotal year marked both his first encounter with the Quranic Letter and a painful trial: the abandonment by his father. This double shock — both spiritual and intimate — became the starting point of his artistic journey.
During his studies in Constantine, he was once asked to write his first name in Arabic. That simple act, followed by a compliment, deepened his bond with sacred writing. His attraction to the Quranic Letter became the foundation of a symbolic identification with a father figure, gradually guiding him — through what he calls Divine Grace — toward the Sublime Divine Names, ultimate models.
On his birthday in November 2008, he created his first digital Symbolography, dedicated to the Divine Name ElAwal – The First. This founding gesture marked the beginning of a singular body of work, at the crossroads of spirituality, symbol, and digital art. Today, Ahmed Bouzeraa defines himself as a collector of emotions, sometimes described as an explorer of the invisible.
