Born in Ussuriysk, in the heart of the Far Eastern taiga, Olga Volga grew up on the wild Kamchatka Peninsula, at the foot of an extinct volcano. This land — at once telluric, raw and mystical — profoundly shaped her perception of the world. Since childhood, immersed in an environment of rare intensity, she developed a heightened awareness of the invisible forces that move through nature, beings and places. This vibratory, almost shamanic sensitivity is the foundation of her artistic approach.
From an early age, Olga distinguished herself through a different way of perceiving reality. She senses flows, emotions, energies. Her relationship with the world is intuitive, inward, almost spiritual. It is this capacity to feel — beyond the visible — that leads her toward painting, as a means of expressing the intangible. Her works do not depict what she sees, but what she experiences. Each canvas becomes an extension of her intimate connection to nature, to living beings, to humanity and to the forces of the universe.
