Born in Paris in 1963, Nicole Azoulay is a painter whose atypical path commands admiration. Always drawn to art, she finally took the leap in 2013, at a moment in her life when creative expression became essential. This marked the beginning of an intense period of training: for more than six years, she followed private lessons at home — six hours a day, four days a week. An exceptional discipline devoted to a passion long held back. She explored and perfected various techniques — watercolor, oil, acrylic — until she discovered her own pictorial voice.
Now working in her Paris studio, Nicole Azoulay embraces her autodidactic approach: “Over the years, I managed to free myself by expressing my emotions and letting my imagination flow freely through my abstract paintings, working with transparency and the juxtaposition of colors.” A mother of four and passionate about travel, she infuses her work with the radiant energy and vibrant sensitivity that define her artistic universe.
