Born in Ufa, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Elena Papernaya is a Russian-Israeli artist whose singular path lies at the intersection of architectural precision and pictorial sensitivity. Trained in architecture at the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University, she practiced this profession for three years before dedicating herself entirely to her artistic calling. From this first career, she retains a perfect command of space, composition, and a keen awareness of light.
Now based in Monaco, Elena Papernaya is a member of several prestigious artistic institutions, including the International Association of Art (IAA/AIAP-UNESCO), Cap des Arts in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, and L’Aigle de Nice. Within these circles, she has developed a refined, meditative, and deeply contemporary body of work.
