Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, AnJenyZ now lives in Luxembourg, where she balances her career as a translator with her artistic pursuits. From the age of six, she developed a passion for drawing, creating small comic strips inspired by her favorite fairy tales — especially Cinderella. This early immersion in visual storytelling marked the beginnings of an artistic journey shaped by imagination, sensitivity, and the expression of feminine figures.
Trained in a school of art and decoration, AnJenyZ gradually refined a personal language. Between 2000 and 2002, she produced a large part of her work, all centered on the exploration of femininity. Influenced by early 20th-century modernists — Picasso, Kandinsky, Miró, Masson — she drew from their formal audacity a freedom of tone she made her own. Vivid colors, rounded forms, mixed textures: AnJenyZ’s painting evokes a femininity that is plural, modern, and intuitive.
