Born in 1963 in Martinique and raised in the untamed nature of French Guiana, Agnès Etchegoyen is a true image hunter with a singular gaze. From a childhood steeped in deep forests and untamed elements, she has retained a rare sensitivity — one she now channels into a photographic universe all her own, somewhere between modern-day graphic novel and romantic fairytale.

At the age of 14, armed with her father’s professional camera, she began capturing the world through instinct alone, guided by an unshakable love for nature. Her passion, though dormant for a time, grew and fully awakened a decade ago when she gifted herself a sophisticated camera. Since then, she has devoted her lens to her other great loves: surfing, windsurfing, and scuba diving.
