Aline Bernard was born in Mulhouse in 1974. A self-taught painter, she has been based in Cannes for the past twenty years, where she currently works in the city’s mobility and transportation department. She began to fully dedicate herself to art a few years ago, finally revealing her work to the public in 2017. Her use of paint, aerosols, collage, aluminum, and fiber, along with her choice of subjects, reflects a search for meaning — a deliberate aesthetic that defines her distinctive style, blending pixelism, kinetic art, surrealism, and street art.

Painting between the real and the unreal, her temperament drives her to give the very best of herself, making each piece a unique composition. She explores, improvises, invents, and constantly renews her perspective. “The world is a collection of particles in motion. The digitalization of societies is transforming human life. My work is about exploring humanity’s place within the algorithms and pixels that surround us,” she explains.
